Troutfitters Privacy Policy

The policy was prepared as a result of the Personal Information and Protection
of Electronic Data Act.

1. Grand River Troutfitters Ltd. (GRT) retains certain basic information on
customers: names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

2. If customers provide identifying information to GRT staff, this is regarded as
an act of consent to use that information for a limited set of circumstances.

3. Collecting information that identifies customers is purely to maintain an
up-to-date mailing list in order to disseminate information on sales promotions
and other matters.

4. No financial information on individual customers is retained by GRT, with the
exception of credit-card transaction records and bills of sale, where retention is
required by virtue of bank requirements or provincial sales tax and federal
goods and services tax (GST) regulations.

5. Guiding service agreements are a legal document and are retained for four
years.

6. Ken C. Collins, the owner of Grand River Troutfitters, shall be responsible for
the maintenance of all records.

7. Any customer shall be able to inspect his or her own records, having
provided reasonable notice, to check for correctness.

8. Customers’ personal information retained by GRT will NEVER be provided to
any other organization.
