Steve May
Pro Staff/Guide/InstructorSteve enjoys teaching people how to catch any fish that will eat flies, but he has a soft spot for smallmouth bass. An innovative commercial fly-tyer, he's had flies pictured in mainstream fly-fishing magazines and writes a fly-fishing column in Real Fishing. Look for Steve's Grand River patterns, streamers, frogs and perch imitations at Troutfitters.

Larry Mellors
Pro Staff/Guide/InstructorLarry has been fishing since the age of 3 and built his first fly rod at the age of 12. Larry's fishing obsession came honestly as his father was referred to as "S. Ontario's Rainbow Trout King" during the 50's and 60's by the Ontario outdoor media of the time. He has spent the past 25 years as a dedicated volunteer educating the public, especially school children, in regards to improving stream habitat. Larry is the recipient o many national and provincial conservation awards. Teaching fly tying for the past 20 years has made Larry very competent at the vise.
