In the dark fly fishing is tough enough. Tying on new flies and checking leaders is a reality when fishing at night. Using too much light like head lamps offer is bad news. Eyes take too much time to readjust and other anglers and possibly fish are disturbed. With these magnifiers only the finger tips are lit up and magnified - illuminated leader maintenance will never be the same.
I have tried numerous aids to make this tough set of fishing circumstances work. One of the most routine operations to a fly fisher is the leader, tippet and changing of fly. In the dark this procedure goes off the charts in difficulty. however, with these glasses I am totally ready to take it on. Spinner falls here I come.
