This furled leader is hand-tied and twisted to ensure the best possible performance. It is made with fluorocarbon tippet material. One 18" long 30lb wire bite guard is also included. NOTE: This leader is designed for sink or full sinking fly lines.
One of the most common mistakes that is made by anglers fishing sinking or sink tip lines is the length of leader. When a too long of leader is used, the fly is fishing much higher up in the water column then your sinking line is traveling through. I have never used a leader longer than 5ft when fishing sinking lines.
